The 51,856 SF three-level facility includes a 1,500 seat concert performance hall, 50-foot glass-walled lobby, ticket outlet, restrooms, a green room for more intimate gatherings and receptions, dressing rooms, instrument storage, concession, recording studio and director’s office. The center, constructed in two phases, also includes classroom space. Special structural design considerations involved the special windstorm design provisions for coastline exposures as well as the demanding acoustical criteria for this world-class performance facility.
