Retirement Announcement
All of us at IES would like to wish Dave Gauthier a happy retirement. His experience over the years has been an immense benefit to our clients and the engineers that he mentored here at IES. His work was a great asset to Joe Huizar and Justice Edge as they try to follow the example he leaves behind.
Dave was the partner that ran the San Antonio IES office before he went into the seminary in late 2001 and became a pastor. He worked part-time for IES during his tenure as a pastor at Shavano Baptist Church. Dave returned to IES full-time in 2012 as a senior project manager and was promoted to associate in 2018. Dave’s prior experience in construction and UT Austin engineering education served him well working at IES.
We will miss his contributions but are happy that he will be getting more time for himself and his family.
