The transformation of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center expansion includes approximately 835,030 SF of proposed new construction and 73,800 SF of renovated space modernizing the center into a world-class convention facility. The total area included in the convention center transformation consists of 913,330 SF. The new spaces of the expansion will include 515,000 SF of prime contiguous exhibit space, a 55,000 SF ballroom, meeting rooms and a dynamic entry lobby engaging the urban edge on Market Street.
