This single-story regional cancer care center will provide nine surrounding counties with state-of-the-art cancer services. The center features a radiation oncology suite with a concrete vault for the linear accelerator, patient treatment rooms, and a CT scanning room. The suite was designed to reduce the distance between the waiting room and the vault and simulator for patient flow. The center also includes a 10-seat infusion suite that features a mixing room meeting the USP 797 Pharmacy Compounding-Sterile Processing requirements. A 17,000 SF single-story medical office building connects to the cancer center by a covered walkway. The building includes doctors’ offices along with x-ray services and a small lab. The facilities accommodate parking for 139 vehicles.
