The project consists of a new 439,000 SF high school built atop the hill at the southwest corner of the intersection of Bulverde Road and TPC Parkway, the campus of Claudia Taylor Johnson High School takes advantage of the natural terrain. The main classroom building dominates the skyline and grows from two stories to three stories as it moves down the slope of the hill towards this prevalent Northeast District intersection. The theater building, cafeteria, and several other classroom wings radiate from the main classroom building. A state-of-the art athletic building and ROTC building are located further up the hill. Tennis, baseball, soccer, football, and other athletic fields fill in at the back side of the campus. A central utility plant, several storage buildings, and an amphitheater make up some of the other campus amenities.
